The International Space Station has had an uninterrupted human presence since November of 2000. Since then, more than 160 scientists and engineers from sixteen different partner nations have visited the internationally developed research facility. In this section, we are happy to offer updated information provided by members of the current mission.
SPEEDMASTER HISTORY
When OMEGA launched the first Speedmaster chronograph in 1957 we had no idea that it would become the most storied chronograph watch of all time or that its role in history would be fixed in July of 1969 when, strapped to Buzz Aldrin’s spacesuit, it became the first watch to be worn on the Moon. It is still standard equipment for every NASA piloted flight.
